Lambrina Nikolaou, BSc
Associate Executive Director
Lambrina joined the Centre in 2018 as a volunteer Board member. In 2025 Lambrina was hired as the Associate Executive Director. Since 1990 she has worked and volunteered in the non‑profit sector as a community advocate with a deep focus on social inclusion, poverty reduction, and building resilient neighbourhoods.
Lambrina believes strongly in the importance of social connection between neighbours, seeing it as essential to a community’s ability to respond and adapt to big changes and complex challenges. “It’s about all of us working together to build a stronger, more connected neighbourhood—one where everyone’s basic needs are met, everyone belongs and can engage in different ways, and families can thrive.”
She sees the Centre as an asset belonging to the community: a welcoming place where people can connect, share their talents, build relationships, and contribute to the heart of the neighbourhood. A vital place for building and strengthening community where everyone belongs.
Lambrina is committed to collaborative and creative partnerships that support both personal and social change and help address critical issues facing the community.
